Bio

Andy Miller retired from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s Office of Research and Development in December 2024 after more than three decades of federal service. Throughout his career, he has served as a Senior Science Advisor, principal EPA representative to the U.S. Global Change Research Program, Branch Chief and project engineer. An NC State alum, Miller earned his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering here in 1991 and now returns to campus to share his expertise in environmental science and policy. He welcomes opportunities to connect with students, faculty and collaborators.
